The General Store was established in 1987 as a hardware store with a few firearms for sale. In 2000 we turned our attention strictly to hunting, shooting and the outdoor sports including fishing. Our fishing department includes tackle ranging from small jigs to musky baits, along with Shimano and Fenwick rods, boat and other fishing accessories. The Osakis General Store also has a great selection of live bait with: leeches, waxies, crawlers, angleworms, redtails, suckers, shiners, fatheads and crappie minnows.Guns Galore, is the back gun counter that operates within The General Store. Guns Galore carries a full line of handguns, rifles and shotguns with over a 1000 new and used firearms to choose from including: Winchester, Ruger, Savage, Tikka, Remington, Colt, Glock, Smith & Wesson just to name a few. Guns Galore also carries a wide variety of AR 15s. Along with all the new firearms to choose from Guns Galore buys and trades for used firearms with an inventory of around 100 used guns. For all the other hunting and shooting needs there are a wide range of accessories to pick from to help you on your next hunt or out at the range from cleaning supplies, holsters, targets muzzleloaders, muzzleloader accessories, game calls, scents and reloading supplies just to name a few. With an experienced gunsmith on staff, Guns Galore offers services from a basic cleaning to that much needed repair to get you back out in the field.
