Every Sunday morning Our Lord Jesus Christ gathers us together around His saving Means of Grace to create and sustain our faith in Him and strengthen us for service in the world He has made. We hope you will join us.
The mission of our congregation comes from our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and is recorded in Matthew 28:18-20: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
Zion is part of the Readlyn Area Lutheran Parish, a two-point parish with St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church of Readlyn. During the summer months and for special services, we alternate locations for worship with St. Matthew’s. Both Zion and St. Matthew’s are member congregations of the North American Lutheran Church (NALC). The NALC is Christ Centered, Mission Driven, Traditionally Grounded, and Congregationally Focused.
