Five Star Realty was created in 2016. Broker/Owner Kathy Woizeschke-Hanson was born and raised on an acreage outside of Windom. Five Star Realty was previously known as the Windom office of Mark Hanson Realty since 2006. That office grew to a staff of 5 agents and relocated to 921 3rd Avenue on the square in downtown Windom. Kathy, her husband Brent and their son Logan remodeled the building and restored the original tin ceiling. They absolutely love being part of historic downtown Windom. In 2016, Kathy Woizeschke-Hanson became the primary broker and launched her own business, called “Five Star Realty.”

Five Star Realty also specializes in flood plain removal. They have removed multiple properties from the flood plain, which makes your home much more marketable.
For buyers, they work with first-time homebuyers, veterans and conventional buyers to educate them about the home-buying process, and to find a home that meets their specific needs.
