Heart 'n Home began by Julie Wurr with nothing more than a desire to create beautiful arrangements. In 1992 the adventure began by doing craft shows for four years. All of the encouragement by both customers and family convinced Julie and her husband, Bill, to turn their garage into a store.
In early 2000, after a record breaking open house, the decision was made to move downtown. They have been in same location ever since. But the store has certainly changed! Adding dining room service, silk and dried arrangements, gourmet food, gift baskets and gifts has been been a great addition to Heart 'n Home.
More recently fresh flower arrangements has joined the lineup at Heart 'n Home! The main focus is doing "couture arrangements" - meaning creating arrangements to reflect the person receiving the flowers. Even tribute flower arrangements (sympathy arrangements) can have significant meaning.
Weddings really shine with romance at Heart 'n Home. Free consultations discussing ideas, budgets, and visions with the brides is a highlight for Julie.
Where is Heart 'n Home headed? Even a dreamer like Julie has no idea....but the journey is certainly fun!
