Larson’s Hardware Hank was started in October of 1979 by Loren and Altjie Larson (along with their daughter Carrie), and was located at the Town and Country Plaza in Osage, Iowa. Many of the current departments were at the store at that time. In 2000, Loren and Altjie retired and we (Steve and Carrie) purchased the store. In 2008, we moved across the road to the Stang’s Farm and Home location, which was remodeled and added on to at that time. We have expanded many of the departments and have become a one stop shop for the needs of many in Osage and the surrounding areas. We have maintained a family atmosphere in our business and hope to continue to serve our local communities in that capacity. From the kids that know us as the Kitty Store to the parents that know that we will do our best to solve their problems, remember you have a lot more going for you with Hank, Hardware Hank.
