Northland Auto and Marine of Humboldt is locally owned and operated by Preston Peterson and his wife Jadie Peterson(Gronbach). Preston was not a born resident of Humboldt but was raised in Humboldt when his family moved to town in 1999. He grew up going to Humboldt schools where he excelled in education and athletics. Preston has been working in the auto industry since 2009, when he started working for Kemna Motor Company out of Algona. Preston worked for Kemna until November 2013 when he became owner of Northland. Preston is married to Jadie(Gronbach) and have three lovely children, Brynlie, Colin, and Ty. Preston is the son of Rod Peterson and LaDonna Thompson. Preston is also the oldest of 3 boys in the family (Curtis and Spencer Peterson). In his free time, Preston enjoys spending time with the family and still has not shyed away from the sports scene. Preston is a member of the Humboldt Country Club, plays in softball leagues around the area, but doesn't shy away from any sport you challenge him to.


Jadie is a local woman that has lived in the community all of her life. Jadie as well went through the Humboldt school system and eventually carried her schooling through NIACC in Mason City where she earned a degree as a Registered Nurse. Jadie stays very busy helping out at Northland as well as working some rotations at the Humboldt hospital. Jadie is the daughter of Jim and Judy Gronbach. She is 1 of 4 daughters (Jackie, Jill, and Josie). Jadie loves spending time with not only her two wonderful young children, but all of her family and friends as well.?
