At the Sherman House Bed & Breakfast we want to make sure you have the best experience possible. Many times you are sharing the house with other guests, so to make sure everyone has a positive experience worth sharing with friends and neighbors we have the following house rules.

Rates: Our rates are quoted upon making a reservation. Lodging (7%) and sales (5%) taxes apply to all rates. We do offer a whole home rental rate, corporate rates, and gift certificates. Promotional offers are sometimes available.

Payment: We gladly accept Cash, Checks, Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express.

Children: When you rent the whole home we gladly welcome the children in the family. Otherwise the house is reserved for adults.

Accessibility: The Sherman House is handicap accessible, additionally we have a room with all the required amenities.

Check in: Rooms will be available by 4:00 P.M. We would like to know your arrival time so we can be home to greet you upon your arrival. If your arrival time needs to be earlier please let us know.

Check out: Our check out time is 12:00 P.M. which affords us the opportunity to prepare our rooms for arriving guests. However, do not feel pressured to leave. You are welcome to enjoy the public areas of our house and our community.

Smoking: Smoking is prohibited by state law.

Pets: Pets are not appropriate for our house.

Flexibility: Yoga is good. With that said if you need flexibility on a house rule or policy, if you want to do something special for that special someone, or need us to make some extra advanced preparations for your arrival please let us know when you call in to make your reservation
