We opened Sommerfeld Outfitters in late August 2015 to provide hunters and people who love the outdoors a local option to buy their hunting gear and outdoor supplies. Before our store opened, customers were forced to drive 60 to 80 miles to find the types of products we carry. Our passion for the outdoors and frequent communication with customers allows us to keep up on the types of products our customers are looking for. We carry an assortment of hunting, fishing, firearms, apparel, ammunition and various other products. Check out our store tour page to get a glimpse of the types of products we carry. If our customers can't find something they are looking for, we are always willing to do our best to find it for them. Our weekly shipments allow us to get special requests in a timely fashion.
We are lifetime members of the NRA, IGO (IA Gun Owners), NTA (National Trappers Association), and ITA (Iowa Trappers Association). We also sell firearms with a transfer cost of $25 per firearm. Please notify us beforehand so we can send our FFL to the shipper and are aware of parties and firearms involved.
