The Ellsworth Fire Department and Rescue Squad is an all volunteer organization with 25 members: The members are both male and female.
The department meets every 1st Monday of the month at 7:00 PM for a meeting and training.
Of the 25 members; 7 are EMR’s and 2 are EMT’s.
The department has 2 Pumpers, 1 Grass Rig, 2 Tankers, 1 Rescue Truck and 1 Equipment Van.
The department averages around 35 calls a year which include fire, medical and rescue runs.
