Built in 1987 and refurbished in 2010, the Lake View Public Library is located at 202 Main Street. It contains an excellent selection of books, large print books, magazines, movies, audio books, computers, free wireless access for public use and an expanded children’s section. The library features a meeting room with TV and Wii activities.
The Library Board of Trustees and staff take pride in offering access to a wealth of reference materials, including genealogy resources, downloadable books, WILBOR e-books and an EBSCO host link on the web page for research. Also, interlibrary loan and faxing services are available.
Popular programs offered at the library include: Book Club, Café Poetry, Kids After School and Summer Reading.
