Bio: The Mazeppa Area Historical Society became a 501c-3 in December, 2010. It has grown with great interest from members and donators. In 2013, the MAHS purchased the “Work-Out Center”, formerly the Peoples State Bank, formed in 1909. With a lot of hard work and TLC, it has become a welcome to so many. In 2016, we had the names, “Peoples State Bank and Mazeppa Journal” uncovered as many skeptical sight-seers watched on! Also, we were on a mystery hunt to find the “1909” date stone and we found it, with it being placed by the front door.
