Dollars for Scholars® is a national network of community-based and volunteer-operated scholarship foundations throughout the US. As part of Scholarship America's® national network of locally based, volunteer driven Dollars for Scholars chapters, our mission is to mobilize our community on behalf of postsecondary educational success for all students. The Minneota Chapter was formed in 2001 and since that time, we've raised and awarded MHS graduates with more than $108,000 to help support their continuing education goals. In addition, with the support of our community through named scholarships, over the past 15 years alone, Minneota Dollars for Scholars has awarded a total of over $300,000 to Minneota High School Graduates.
This year we awarded over $25,000 to the Class of 2017.
Dollars for Scholars chapters like ours help hometown students achieve their educational goals by raising scholarship funds, establishing endowments, providing assistance with college readiness and the financial aid process, and distributing scholarships each year.
