The Slayton Area Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to its mission of promoting and supporting the life and economies of Murray County’s hometowns.
We are proud of our good-hearted people, the cherished rural life, and the numerous business opportunities in our hometowns! Therefore, we are renewing and revitalizing our efforts to be a relevant leader with a clear voice - investing our time into our hometown businesses, organizations and individuals.
In order to continually accomplish our mission, we have one clear goal always before us - to help local businesses and individuals network with one another. In doing so, we believe the following results will occur:
1] Lasting, healthy partnerships will be built among our current local and regional businesses that will sustain our hometown economies. 2] Our great school districts, their staffs, and their student bodies will see growth and be supported and sponsored throughout each school year. 3] Our local organizations, clubs, and church fellowships will have the resources and volunteers necessary to serve our local residents, families, and communities. 4] Our local residents and visitors will have accurate and easily accesible information that creates a personal interest and a personal investment to shop, work, and live in our local hometowns. 5] New businesses, industries, and community opportunities will be developed and launched for the benefit of our local residents, families, and communities, so they have more local options to shop, work, and stay in our local hometowns.
