Chatfield will celebrate their 52nd Chatfield
Western Days celebration will be held the first weekend in August. We are confident that this
year's celebration will continue our strong tradition of being the
grandest community celebration around! We anticipate more people, more
excitement, and more fun during the celebration.
The traditional Saturday grand parade will be on Saturday, Aug.
10, at 1 p.m. This parade will include all the crowd's favorites, kid
pleasers, bands and horses.

Chatfield Western Days Parade Rules 1. Parade starts at 1 PM sharp. Be lined up and ready by Noon. 2. Sponsorship signs will need to be arranged by the individual unit. 3. Please maintain a comfortable pace and distance with the unit ahead of you. Please close up any gaps 4. Absolutely NO WATERis to be thrown or sprayed or water balloons thrown from a unit or by any member of a unit. 5. NO SIRENS please (we have a lot of horse units and musical units in the parade). 6. No alcohol is to be on any of the units or distributed along the parade route. 7. If you have a large unit without clear visibility, please provide walkers to watch your blind zones. 8. If you have candy or other treats, please hand them out at curb side. We do not want kids to run into the flow of the parade. Please have plenty of helpers so you do not hold up the parade. 9. The Chatfield CCTV and KFIL Radio Station will broadcast our parade. They will be located at the traffic lights at the corner of Main and Third Street. As you approach the lights, please provide your best of show. 10. Please do not hand out brochures or stickers, as most of these end up on the ground and clean-up is time consuming. 11. Please disburse quickly at the end of the parade. When you stop to breakdown your unit, please pull completely off the traffic area of the street so others may get by your unit. 12. Parade officials have the right to disqualify and remove any unit that does not abide by these rules. This applies not only to this parade, but also any future Western Days Parade.
