Kinderfest – Believed to be the oldest heritage celebration in Iowa, Manning hosts Kinderfest (German for Children's Day) each year on the Saturday of Father's Day weekend. Manning’s 136th annual tradition will be held on June 15, 2019. This festival provides a day of good old-fashioned family fun for children of all ages! The event starts with an annual parade of children at 11 am. The city park overflows with games, contests, rides, foods, water fights, 5K fun run, and a book fair. All-day wrist bands are available for the blow-up rides.
