Northwood’s Annual Founder’s Day Celebration is held the first weekend in September starting at 7 am with an omelet breakfast, 5k run/walk, Aristocrats Car show, cemetery walk, sand volleyball tourney, museum open, Free entertainment by Split Second on the stage, wine tasting at 9 Pines, Iowa History 101 trailer, street vendors, food vendors and stores are open, Norwegian goodies for sale, Class reunions, inflatables and a horseshoe tourney.
