Sibley, IA - United Methodist Church

Sibley, IA

Welcome to the Sibley United Methodist Church. We are part of the Sibley - Ocheyedan Parish. Our pastor lives in Sibley. Sibley is a rural county seat town in NW Iowa. Many of our members are farmers or in Agriculture-related businesses. They are warm and friendly, courteous and gracious to guests and visitors.

Our worship service is an hour in length, using traditional hymns and praise songs in a relaxed atmosphere. A small choir sings once or twice a month. A digital projector and PowerPoint is used once a month to illustrate the message and bring a different context to worship. Time for children is included in the service. Dress is casual. A coffee time follows worship.

We offer worship and Sunday School for all ages on Sunday mornings. Youth group is offered twice a month on Wednesday evenings. JAMS, for elementary aged children, is offered twice a month on Wednesday evenings. We have a choir and a ladies group.
