Jesus didn’t stay dead (I Corinthians 15:3-4), and before He left earth He gave us a mission: to share, invite, and train people all over the world to follow Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20). Jesus gave us a primary method for accomplishing this, His Church (Matthew 16:18), and the Holy Spirit to help us (John 14:26). Church isn’t a building, it’s a community of Christians. Individual Christians don’t just make up the church, they are the church (1 Corinthians 12:27). Jesus is coming back to earth some day and our goal is to invite as many people as possible into a growing relationship with God before that happens (Luke 12:40).
