In 1937, we started off as a small group of families wanting to follow the best we could. We knew that Jesus was GOD, and that HE needed laborers and a place where He could reach people. So, we built a building and started having services.
After almost 30 years as a Covenant Missions Alliance Church, we decided that there was a better line of beliefs we lined up with, so we changed our name to Calvary Baptist Church. With this came a parting of ways between the people.
In the 1980's our church had a divide again, creating another Baptist Church still operating today. With this, we left the G.A.R.B. movement to begin life anew as an Independent Fundamental Bible-Believing Baptist Church. Since this, we have grown and seen many faces and helped in even more places. We just seek to follow GOD at every turn.
