Lake Mills, IA - Salem Lutheran Church

Many of you have heard read or heard about the consideration of bylaw changes that have been brought to discussion at Salem Lutheran Church. We will be taking a congregational vote on these changes on Sunday, April 28th at 9:30am. Welcomed at this vote, based on our Constitution, are any active Salem Lutheran Church members. To be on the active membership roster, our records must show the member voting is confirmed, has transferred from another congregation, or been received by affirmation of faith (confirmed) and has made a contribution of record in the past year. The member must have also worshipped and communed in the past year. We understand that many in the community have voiced their opinions on the proposed changes, but we ask that you pray for our members during this time and allow them the opportunity to vote according to their beliefs and the path that they wish Salem to take going forward.
