We rejoice that “God so loved the world that He gave His one andonly son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but haveeternal life” (John 3:16). What makes this such good news is the treasure of who loves us. In other words, the “new hope” that thrillsour souls is not so much that we matter, but that God matters. God ishuge. God is mighty. God is massive. He is perfect in holiness and overflowing in grace. The God who is infinitely glorious invites us to “taste and see that the Lord is good”.
