Along with the historic Christian church we confess the three ecumenical creeds: The Apostles' Creed, The Nicene Creed, & The Athanasian Creed
As members of The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod, we believe that Scripture is the inspired and inerrant Word of God and as such is the only authority in matters of faith (Sola scriptura). We believe that we are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ by grace alone (Sola gratia). We believe that we are justified through faith, not works (Sola fide).
The Lutheran Confessions are found in the Book of Concord of 1580, a collection of the confessional documents of the Christian faith and the Lutheran reformers. The basis for all documents in the Book of Concord is Scripture, God's inspired Word.
The Divine Service follows Bible Study and begins at 10:00a.m.
Holy Communion is offered on the first and third Sundays of every month.
You may also join us at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Readlyn at 7pm on Sundays for a Bible Study on the Book of Genesis, led by Pastor Moss.
