We are a real church serving the real god for real life!
We are two churches that joined together for one purpose...to reach the lost! In 2004 Grace Baptist Church and First Baptist Church decided to embark on a new journey that would enable them to reach Sheffield and the surrounding communities for Christ. We became First Grace Baptist Church. As a new congregation we sought a pastor to lead us in unity and guide us with God's direction. Pastor Ken Livingston, his wife, Jolene and their four children moved to Sheffield in August of 2004 and they continue to serve our church family faithfully. Since the step of faith to join together, both church parsonages and both church buildings were sold for a modest amount of money. Through God's blessings we now worship weekly in our new church building that was built debt free. This building was built on faith in God and the generous giving of our congregation. As our church family began to impact the community even more effectively, the need for additional staff arose. In 2011 Pastor Dusty, his wife, Kristi and their two boys moved to Sheffield to work with youth and help with our worship ministry.
