Three black marble tablets placed in a semicircle, inscribed with the names of all Hospers area veterans and an asterisk following the names of those who died in service. The center tablet is taller, and is inscribed at the top with the name of the memorial, seals of the branches of military service and a dedication: "Dedicated to all veterans who through service and sacrifice have helped preserve our freedom". A viewing bench in front of the tablets and 3 flagpoles behind them with the American flag in the center and the Iowa flag and the American Legion flag on either side complete the memorial.
