The Lake Mills Area Veterans Monument was dedicated July 2004. The eight walls house the names of over 1,150 veterans. A special Granite marker honoring the soldiers killed in action was dedicated in July 2005 along with a flower area and the addition of the five service flags. The park has a gazebo and shade trees. This is a highlight to see while visiting Lake Mills.
