Museum and Research Library housed in a 1917 church building and an 1868 house on the Nat'l Historic Register. As a museum and research library, we process the artifacts and information about Waseca County's history and make it accessible to the world through our searchable website, museum exhibits and programs.

Our mission is to preserve and maintain, interpret and educate about our history. By interpret we try to make it meaningful, significant through the unique people and events in our history. WCHS is one of only three non-church genealogical research sites of the Church of the Latter Day Saints genealogical records in the state of Minnesota.

Our support comes from membership, donations/memorials, county, city and township appropriations, fundraising, endowment funds, program grants, gift shop sales, and volunteer hours. Go online to JOIN or DONATE!
