About Bertram, IA


South of Cedar Rapids – West of Mt. Vernon – North of Iowa City – Right in the Middle of the Heartland.

Founded in 1858 and quietly nestled into the countryside near Big Creek, Bertram is primarily a bedroom community just south of Cedar Rapids. Bertram is also close to Palisades-Kepler State Park and Bertram Bridge, which also spans Big Creek and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
