Our small town atmosphere features a historic downtown, excellent schools, two medical clinics, churches, businesses, numerous civic organizations, beautiful parks, industry – including the world headquarters of Kuhn North America, and agriculture.
Enjoy our many festivals or bike on the beautiful Sugar River Bike Trail. Purchase cheese at an authentic cheese factory, or buy fresh apples at an orchard, each located just outside the City limits. Brodhead is working in conjunction with the Department of Natural Resources to develop the Pearl Island Recreational Area. Cleaning up existing waterways, developing nature trails, preserving native wildlife and plants, are all part of the project.
