Dallas Center is a community of 1600 that is proud of where they have been and excited about where they are going. They have a rich heritage in agriculture and host companies that lead the world in animal and plant genetics. They enjoy a small town quality of life within 20 miles of the greater Des Moines community.

With library, parks, pool and other recreational activities provide opportunities for their residents to unwind. They are home to two Dallas Center-Grimes School buildings offering high quality educational opportunities to their K-8 children in great new facilities. The DC-G School system has strong academic, fine arts and sports traditions. Kids Korner, a local daycare and preschool center, has developed a unique partnership with the schools to provide before and after school care in a controlled, fun environment.
