Welcome to the Village of Hilbert website. We are a small village located in Calumet County in between Lake Winnebago and Lake Michigan.

Our village is strategically located at approximately equal distances from several major cities (Green Bay, Appleton, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, Sheboygan). The existence of Hilbert was brought about due to the robust rail industry during the late 1800’s. The first plat of Hilbert was recorded in 1873 and was originally called Hilbert Junction in honor of H.J. Hilbert. It was later incorporated as a village in 1898. At that time, the population of Hilbert was 476 residents.

Today, our population has grown to 1,130 residents. We are home to Sargento Foods and several other smaller manufacturers and businesses. We boast a wonderful school system and have adequate areas for both residential and commercial development. We boast a very low crime rate and have residents that genuinely care about and take pride in their community. We have parks and a community center building that is available for rent for your various celebrations.
