The City of Le Grand Iowa was incorporated on June 16, 1891.
- Le Grand is located in the center of the State of Iowa. U.S. Highway 30, also known as the Lincoln Highway, runs East and West on the North side of town. The Lincoln Highway originally ran through the center of town and was a major source of commerce.
