Lincoln is also the only city in the world named for and christened by Abraham Lincoln before he became President. We like to think we recognize greatness long before others! We’re home to a number of historic sites and events associated with our presidential namesake including the brand new Lincoln College Heritage Museum and the Postville Courthouse.
