Welcome to our family in Christ at Zion Lutheran Church! The Zion community has had a relationship with West Union since 1938. We are a member of the Northeastern Iowa Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).
Our building, built in 1958, was designed with the future in mind. Our open and inviting space was designed to be not only welcoming but to further promote Christian fellowship and community. Because of the distinctive architecture, we can provide West Union not only good and authentic liturgical worship, but a space that helps natural fellowship and interaction. Our ministry has a strong tradition of varied expressions of music, commitment to learning, and a duty of service to our community and to the world that spans multiple generations.
