The Truman Historical Association is a nonprofit group collecting and preserving artifacts from Truman’s 100+ years of history. Association meetings are first Thursday each month at 7:00 PM. Meetings are held at the Museum (address below). Their annual meeting is held in May, and membership is $10. The historical association operates the Truman Historical Museum, located at 109 West Ciro Street. Phone 507.776.7889. Scheduled hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 1:00 – 4:00 PM in the winter, 1:00 – 5:00 PM in the summer. The museum will also open by appointment for tours and classroom visits. Donations are always appreciated and much needed to continue operation.
