The Jewel Box, established in 1971, moved to its present location in 2001. In 2002, The Jewel Box was awarded Best Total Building Rehabilitation in the State of Iowa by Mainstreet Iowa. Selections of jewelry include: karat gold jewelry for men and women, family jewelry, baby jewelry and gifts, fashion jewelry and watches. Other services offered by The Jewel Box are watch repair, jewelry repair, free cleaning and inspections,and remounts and design consultations. The Jewel Box also offers unique home decor pieces.
The second floor of the Jewel Box houses a private guest suite that is rented by the day. This is a secluded apartment that overlooks the beautiful historic public square. Call for availability.
